Cradoc Golf Club recently hosted its Men’s Championship under near-perfect conditions, with calm weather and the course presented in pristine shape.
A strong turnout of competitors made for an exciting day of golf, as many players sought to test themselves against the club’s finest, while others aimed to claim the coveted champion’s title.
The atmosphere was lively with plenty of discussion, friendly banter, and high hopes among the entrants, adding to the pressure as the competition got underway.
The 18-hole event saw Patrick Jones claim victory with an impressive 68 nett, receiving his trophy from Club Captain Chris Reeves. Meanwhile, Vivek Gurung impressed with consistent rounds of 69 and 68 nett to secure the Nett Trophy.
Despite fierce competition, one player clearly stood above the rest. Rob Evans delivered outstanding golf with gross rounds of 73 and 71, earning him the well-deserved honour of Cradoc Club Champion for 2025.
Coming from a successful golfing family, Evans continues to follow in their footsteps with this exceptional performance.
