Brecon Jazz Club and The Muse are joining forces to host a special concert celebrating women in jazz as part of Brecon Women’s Festival 2026.

The event, taking place on Friday, March 13 at 8pm at The Muse in Brecon, will feature the acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Ruta Di, who is visiting Wales for this unique performance.

Ruta, now based in London, will be accompanied by two leading figures from the Welsh jazz scene: Paula Gardiner on double bass and Liz Exell on drums. The trio promises an evening of dynamic musical collaboration, blending Ruta’s signature style, which draws on Lithuanian traditional music, with contemporary jazz arrangements.

Tickets are available now, with earlybird prices of £15 until Sunday, rising to £17 in advance and £19 on the day.
