Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service are currently dealing with a wildfire.

The fire is on a hillside at Hanter Lane, Presteigne.

In a statement, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “At 12.26pm on Wednesday, 22nd July, Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service crews from Presteigne, Knighton, Hay On Wye and Llandrindod Wells Fire Stations were mobilised to a wildfire on the hillside at Hanter Lane, Presteigne.

“This incident is currently ongoing and no further info available at this time.”
