THE children at Crickhowell Community Primary School went to St Edmunds Church in Crickhowell for their annual Harvest celebation last Thursday (October 19).
The service was organised by teacher Kath Davies, with the children singing, speaking, and acting out performances as part of the service which involved every year group from reception to Year 6. Some of the children even peformed a rap song.
The children and parents collected food at the service, which will be donated to the foodbank in Abergavenny to help families in need who access the service.
Head teacher Mike Wakeley said: “The theme of this year’s service was appreciation; appreciating all that we have been blessed with and sharing our bounty with those less fortunate.”
