Cradoc Golf Club is pleased to announce plans for its 2023 Opens Weekend.

The popular annual event will this year run from Thursday, June 15 to Sunday, June 18.

The event is a fantastic opportunity for visitors from other clubs across Wales and beyond to come and play the Cradoc course on the outskirts of Brecon at a lower fee than they would otherwise pay, alongside Cradoc Golf Club members. Visitors will enjoy a fantastic day out and will enjoy a warm Welsh welcome to Cradoc.

The golf course at Cradoc is renowned as a beautiful parkland course, offering stunning view across Pen y Fan. As well as competing in the golf competitions, visitors will also enjoy a relaxed social environment in the clubhouse, with its bar and restaurant facilities.

The 2023 Opens event starts with the Ladies’ Pairs Open on Thursday, June 15 (Texas Scramble); followed by the Senior Men's Singles Open (55+) on the Friday.

On Saturday, June 17, it is the Mixed Open (Greensomes), with the event ending on the Sunday with the Men's Singles Open.

Cradoc Golf Club Ladies’ captain Janet Hendey said: “We are very excited to announce the details of our Opens Weekend for this year. It is a great opportunity for golfers from far afield to come and enjoy our Course and compete in an informal and friendly atmosphere.

“We also encourage visitors to stay for a few days and explore the wonderful town of Brecon and the surrounding area.”
