The Pavillion in Llandrindod Wells is ready to welcome guests through its doors as it joins Powys Pride.

Taking place this weekend, Powys Pride is the first annual celebration of and by the LGBTQIA+ community across all of Powys.

The doors open at 7pm on Saturday, July 16, and the acts start at 7:30pm with a performance from Drag Queens, Polly Amarous and Pixie Perez.

Polly Amorous and Pixie Perez are professional Drag Queens from Cardiff. Pixie is an award winning performer and has been working as a drag act for over 20 years for national and international audiences.

The progeny of legendary pianist ‘Mrs Mills’, Pixie was destined for Showbiz, and Cardiff’s funniest drag queen is never happier than when singing and entertaining, in the most spectacular costumes and with legs to totally die for!

Polly Amorous is an up and coming drag act from Cardiff who recently made the leap to full time Drag Act and is a rising star on the scene.

At 8:45pm ‘Absolute Britney’ Starring Lucy Rose as the most authentic Britney Spears Tribute act, complete with some of the industry’s finest backup dancers, captivating costumes and special effects.

Celebrate the outstanding career of the ‘Princess Of Pop’ in this amazing production with hits such as.. Baby One More Time.. Slave For You.. Stronger.. and Oops I did It Again which is sure to have you dancing in your seats.

To finish the night off, there will be a House & Techno DJ set from Madame Twisted at 10:00pm

According to the venue, DJ Madame Twisted is a House & Techno DJ from Cardiff, South Wales. They’ve performed at festivals and clubs across Wales bringing their hard house sets and good vibes to people across Wales.
